2007 & 2008 are developmental years for Experience Worship. Our two priorities during this phase are building community and creating resources. Here are some of the things that will be happening soon as well as information on what we’ve done. Feel free to send us suggestions for Experience Worship activities.

Face to Face: an intimate evening of worship
July 25th, 7:00 pm
Food, musical worship, teaching, discussion, artistic expression, fellowship, and outreach are the components of Face to Face evenings. Each of these evenings features different teachers and musicians; each one is structured uniquely with “food themes” differing as well. Some evenings it might be contemplative and liturgical, some evenings it might be celebratory and spontaneous.

The next Face to Face is Friday, July 25th, 7:00pm at Playground Recording Studios. Come hungry, wear your play clothes, and be ready to participate in the experience.

Please RSVP to info@experienceworship.com if you plan to attend as space is limited.

Face to Face: intimate evenings of worship

June 13, 2008
In some ways, this was almost a re-launch of Experience Worship. We ate grilled chicken salad and got to know everyone, shared what Experience Worship is all about and heard three non-musical worship stories, introduced our first book, launched our first fundraising campaign, and closed out the night with a time of musical worship led by Jesse Shuster.

Listen to:  Regi’s greeting (sample-player), Brent’s story (sample-player), Tonya’s story (sample-player),
Jesse leading musical worship (sample-player), Perspectives on Worship & “$50,000 by July 25” (sample-player)

November 9, 2007
Our first Face to Face evening was Friday, November 9, 2007. We ate chili, spent time talking, and packed boxes to take to someone we knew who needed some help at Thanksgiving. Ken Abraham shared and Drew Cline led some musical worship. It was a wonderful night.

Listen to: Regi’s introduction (sample-player), Ken’s devotional (sample-player), Drew leading the musical worship (sample-player)

Experience Worship Launch: June 4, 2007
Experience Worship was publicly introduced to its first audience of about 100 people at The Factory in Franklin on June 4th. Our goal was to provide an experience of Experience Worship. The response was overwhelming.

What an amazing thing you are doing. You connected the dots for us in this brief introduction of EW. I can't imagine the potential for this. ~Colleen & Chris Hollis

This isn't a new concept but it’s definitely one I've taken for granted. ~Heather Proctor

Fellowshipping over great food is worship! ~Bruce Bodor

This has been very thought provoking and right on point. ~Lisa & Kyle Theriot

I'm intrigued by this concept. It makes perfect sense. ~Beth Barnett

This is so needed! I really enjoyed the evening. Can't wait to see what God has in store. ~Maurice Carter
